Hanover is also home to the beautiful Codorus State Park. Codorus includes 3500 acres of pristine nature ready for you to explore, including a 1275 acre lake. It is a popular hiking, camping, swimming, horseback riding, boating, and fishing destination.

Visit downtown Hanover on the second Saturday of each month for Main Street Hanover Second Saturdays. Explore the downtown area and join in special events, promotions, and discounts. Each Second Saturday includes a different theme and is fun for the whole family. Hanover hosts many special events and festivals throughout the year. If you are a chili lover, you don’t want to miss the annual Chili Cook-Off that signals the end of summer each year in Hanover.
